Rani Sui Trek

Rani Sui or Saurkandi Lake a hill to Lake at an altitude of 3790m. It is also known as flowery wall lake as vast pastures around the lake remain packed with flora during summers. The upper region of this trek remains snowbound for more than half a year. You can walk on the Lake in December and January as the water got frozen to negative temperature.
It is located at an aerial distance of 7km for Manali town. One can enjoy the enthralling views of Manalsu glacier, Hanuman Tibba, Deo Tibba, Indrasan, Jagatsukh Peak, Inder Kila, Rohtang pass, Manali town, Dhauladhar, and Pir Panjal ranges on the way to Rani Sui Lake.

  • Day 1 Manali – Lama Dugh, 8km, 4-5 hours

    • Today we will witness one of the most aerial views of Beas valley while climbing to Lamadugh. Our trek to Rani Sui will begin from Old Manali. We pass through the thick Deodar forests and Meadows to reach the high altitude Lamadugh meadows.
    • Lamadugh is the most famous day trek of Manali. As it is the only day trek that offers the enthralling view of Snow-capped peaks and Beas River.

  • Day 2 Lama Dugh – Rani Sui Lake – Duddu Thatch, 11 km, 8-9 hours

    • Be ready for a steeper and longer trekking day as we will ascend to reach Rani Sui Lake.
    • After 4-5 hours of trekking for Lamadugh, we will arrive at the beautiful high altitude lake of Manali, Rani Sui Lake. Take some time and soak yourself with the calming energy of that area. The views of Pir Panjal and Dhauladhar range are worth steep climb for 8 km to reach here.
    • Spending the quality time with the Himalayan lake and mountain, we will descend to Duddu Meadows through crossing forests of pine, maple, horse chestnut, and walnut.
    • Overnight stay at Duddu Meadows.

  • Day 3 Duddu Thatch – Khaniyal – Manali (3 km), 1 hour

    • After having breakfast, we will descend to Manali. Our last day of this trek passes through the forests of Pine trees and water streams.
    • We will arrive at Manali, with some of the most beautiful memories of our life.
